Getting a grip on numbers: Cleversight gives VDB Notaries insights with Power BI <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

VDB Notaries has been using the advanced Power BI reports and dashboards implemented by Cleversight since summer 2024. These solutions ensure that VDB has a better grip on its business and financial processes. This collaboration builds on the previously discussed successful collaboration with Finbees, as described in this customer case study<\/a>. The challenge: insights into complex data<\/strong><\/h2>\n

With just under sixty employees, three branches and a strong growth ambition, VDB was looking for a way to gain better insight into their data. As an intensive user of both Notarisdossier and Twinfield, they needed a solution that made data from these systems easily understandable. “We wanted a grip on our figures, from timekeeping to revenue and work in progress,” says Marco Haanappel of VDB Notaries. “This is crucial not only to provide transparency to our clients, but also to manage our business effectively.” <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The solution: customized reports via Power BI<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Cleversight, with years of experience in developing data-driven solutions, offered the ideal solution in the form of Power BI reports and dashboards. By using a template developed by Cleversight, specifically designed for the notarial profession, VDB was able to quickly get started with automated reporting. This standard template, combined with some customized reports, with data from Notarisdossier and Twinfield, provides clear insight into crucial business data such as: <\/p>\n

    Impact: steering with insight<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    The impact of the implementation has been significant. Thanks to the reports, VDB can now easily monitor how teams are performing, where there is room for new assignments, and the financial health of the firm. Every Tuesday, shareholders meet to review the dashboards. “With these reports, we are really in control of our company. We see in real time where adjustments need to be made,” Marco said.

    In addition, the solution provides transparency to clients. “Our clients want to know what they are paying for. Thanks to the reports, we can clearly specify where our hours go.”

    The dashboards are also valuable internally. Employees can compare their own performance, and the data provides an objective basis for conversations and improvements. “Sometimes it’s confrontational, but it helps us all get better,” Marco explains “and making each other better together is our aspiration at VDB Notaries.” <\/p>\n


    A collaboration with a future<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    The collaboration between VDB Notaries, Cleversight and Finbees demonstrates how technology and expertise reinforce each other. Finbees laid the foundation with financial and operational knowledge, while Cleversight now provides the reports and dashboards that offer insight into the firm’s performance. The combination of these partners gives VDB the tools to work even better and more client-focused. <\/p>\n
